Mahesh Gawali

Mahesh Gawali has over 13 years of work experience in the technology industry. Mahesh began their career in 2007 as a Software Analyst at Syntel. In 2010, they moved to the Watson Institute for System Excellence at Binghamton University as a Research Associate. In 2011, they joined ASML as a Software Design Engineer. In 2012, they were promoted to Lead Engineer - II at Samsung Research India in New Delhi. In 2014, they joined Valassis (Spotzot) as a Sr. Software Engineer and Team Lead. Mahesh'srole included leading and mentoring a team of 5-6 developers, designing and developing self-serve campaign management portals, developing reporting and analytics portals, and working with Vagrant and Docker. In 2016, they were promoted to Head of Engineering at InTouchApp. Finally, in 2018, they joined Avoma as Director of Engineering and Sr Software Engineer - Backend.

Mahesh Gawali earned their Bachelor of Engineering in Information Technology from the Maharashtra Institute of Technology between 2003 and 2007. Mahesh then went on to receive their Masters in Computer Science from Binghamton University between 2009 and 2011.
