Andy Newland

Andy Newland is an experienced professional with a diverse background in emergency planning and community service. Currently serving as a Trustee for SAVES, Andy also holds the position of CTSecCO at Avon and Somerset Police, where responsibilities include event-related planning. Since April 2017, Andy has contributed as an Operational Planner for UK Police and engaged in community projects for North Petherton Town Council focused on securing AEDs. Additionally, Andy is a member of The Emergency Planning Society and operates as a consultancy practitioner, supporting business development for fire safety organizations. Previous roles include Justice of the Peace for the Ministry of Justice UK and a visiting lecturer at the Fire Service College, complemented by a solid educational foundation in Fire Science from the Institution of Fire Engineers and The Open University.
