Rena Friend

Rena Friend is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in the banking sector. Currently serving as Assistant Controller at Shore United Bank since June 2022, Rena previously held the position of VP, Accounting Manager at The Bank of Delmarva from October 2015 to June 2022, where responsibilities included managing daily operations of the Accounting Department, risk mitigation, and general ledger reconcilements. Prior to that, Rena worked at Hebron Savings Bank in various accounting roles from July 2011 to October 2015, and began a career in banking as a Bank Teller at Bank of the Eastern Shore from May 2008 to July 2011. Rena holds a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting and Finance from Forbes School of Business and Technology.
