Jill McClune

Jill McClune serves as General Counsel for Avon Protection Systems since October 2020 and has been active with the Association of Defense Communities (ADC) as Co Chair of the Federal Outreach Advisory Committee since April 2018, advocating for America's defense communities. Additionally, McClune has held the position of Legislative Lead and President Emeritus at Army Alliance since June 2009, where efforts focus on advocacy for Aberdeen Proving Ground at both the state and federal levels. A former Vice President for Smiths Detection (August 2003 - December 2012), McClune oversaw legal matters, contracts, compliance, and M&A due diligence. McClune holds a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Maryland Law School, a Master of Science in Organizational Development from The Johns Hopkins University, and a Bachelor of Science in Government & Politics from the University of Maryland, alongside studies at the University of Oxford.
