Chris Alonso

Chris Alonso, CFA has over 20 years of work experience in the finance industry. Currently, they serve as the Group Head of Strategy and Corporate Development - Vice President at Avon Protection plc, a role they have held since December 2020. Previously, they were the M&A - Managing Director - Head of UK A&D and Industrials at Stephens Inc. from April 2017 to July 2020. Prior to that, Chris worked at Rothschild in various roles from September 2006 to April 2017, starting as an M&A Associate and progressing to become a Director in the A&D and Industrials division. Before joining Rothschild, they worked as a Senior Equity Research Analyst at Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ, London from May 2005 to August 2006. Chris began their career as an Equity Research Analyst at Barclays Plc. in February 2001, where they worked until April 2005.

Chris Alonso, CFA, has a Master's degree in Finance from EDHEC Business School. Chris also completed the Oxford Executive Leadership Programme at Saïd Business School, University of Oxford. Furthermore, they attended Lycée Massena where they pursued Prepa HEC. Chris holds additional certifications including the CFA Charterholder from the CFA Institute and the Oxford Executive Leadership Programme.
