Maria DecenaTaylor

Maria DecenaTaylor has a long and varied work history. Maria began their career in 1993 as a Hospital Corpsman Chief Petty Officer in the US Navy, where they were responsible for providing patient assessments, emergency treatment, and managing and maintaining medical equipment. Maria also provided assistance to medical and nursing staff, and conducted oral presentations and prepared written reports, briefs, and memos.

In 2017, Maria began working as a Program Manager and Project Manager for Spectrum Comm Inc. and Program Manager, respectively. In 2018, they became a Business Owner at Resource 1893 LLC. Maria has been employed as a Corporate Project Manager at Avosys Technology, Inc. since 2019.

Maria DecenaTaylor has a diverse educational background. Maria obtained their Associate of Arts (A.A.) degree from American Military University in 2004-2007. In 2005-2006, they attended Advanced Radiological Technician School Naval School of Health and Sciences Portsmouth, VA to become a Diagnostic Radiology Tech. Maria also attended Basic Military Instructor School in 2002. From 2013-2016, they obtained their Bachelor's degree in General Studies from American Military University. In 2015, they completed Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training. In 2016, they obtained a Certification in Medical Coding from Brainbench. Maria also obtained a Certificate in Medical Office in 2017. In the same year, they completed a Certificate in Medical Terminology. Maria is currently enrolled in Bryant & Stratton College to obtain their Paralegal Certificate, which is expected to be completed in 2023. Additionally, they have obtained various certifications, such as Recruitment Consultant, Diploma in Customer Service, ICD-9 and CPT Coding (Hospital), Medical Office Skills (U.S.), and Medical Terminology from Brainbench and Alison - Free Online Learning.
