Rob de Fluiter Balledux has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Rob started their career at Deloitte Belasting Adviseurs, where they worked as a Manager in the national and international advisory practice. After that, they joined Koninklijke Nedlloyd NV as the Manager of fiscal affairs and subsidies, where they played a key role in the introduction of legislation to stimulate shipping in the Netherlands. Rob later became the Director of Finance at Koninklijke Nedlloyd, responsible for fiscal affairs, treasury, and investor relations. During this time, they were involved in the sale of Nedlloyd's transport and shipping activities.

Rob then joined Stichting Nedlloyd Pensioenfonds as a board member, where they worked on asset and liability management studies and the revision of investment policies. Rob also participated in a restructuring operation that adjusted the rights of "sleepers" and provided restitution of capital to the employer.

In 2001, Rob became the Chief Financial Officer of Martinair Pensioenfondsen, overseeing finance, IT, legal, tax, and procurement. Rob also served as a commissioner for two Martinair subsidiaries. During their time at Martinair, they led various reorganizations, outsourced administration and IT functions, and facilitated the sale of subsidiaries. The company was eventually acquired by KLM.

Rob then joined Van Gansewinkel Groep BV as the Chief Financial Officer, responsible for finance, treasury, legal, tax, procurement, and IT. Rob led two refinancing projects, numerous acquisitions, and the establishment of a central procurement department. Rob also played a key role in the sale of AVR in 2013.

After that, Rob became involved in several organizations in various capacities. Rob served as a member of the board and treasurer for Werkgeversvereniging WENB, a member of the board of directors for Wings of Support, and Chairman of the board of commissioners for Rabobank Utrecht en Omstreken.

In 2013, Rob joined AVR-Afvalverwerking BV as the Chief Financial Officer. Their responsibilities included finance, treasury, tax, legal, insurance, procurement, and IT. Rob played a significant role in the company's transition from the Van Gansewinkel Group, including the restructuring of departments, implementation of reporting lines and reports, and the separation of IT and administration functions. Rob also focused on risk management, insurance policies, and investment projects to increase energy output and processing capacity.

- From 1996 to 1997, they attended Finciele Academie 's-Hertogenbosch for a Controllers Opleiding (Controller's Training).

- Finally, from 1981 to 1987, they attended Erasmus University Rotterdam and completed a degree in Tax Economics (Doctoraal Fiscale Economie).
