Samantha Shortall

Samantha Shortall is a Scientist I at Avro Life Science since January 2020. Prior to this role, Samantha served as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Waterloo from January 2012 to April 2019, where responsibilities included instructing training sessions for new graduate teaching assistants, developing marking rubrics and exam questions, grading assignments, and supervising laboratory experiments across several pharmacy and biology courses. Additionally, Samantha worked as a Research Assistant at the Developmental Science Lab from May 2009 to April 2011. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Pharmacy and a Bachelor of Science with Honours in Biomedical Sciences, complemented by a Psychology Minor, both from the University of Waterloo.
