Senior Chemist/Scientist I at Pacific BioLabs, Inc.

Hardik Amin, Ph.D. has a diverse range of work experience spanning over two decades. Hardik began their career as a Summer Intern at Gharda Chemicals Limited in India, where they gained exposure to various pollution monitoring techniques. Hardik then worked as a Summer Intern at Hikal Ltd, where they received training in basic organic reactions and instrumentation, as well as handled environmental monitoring routine analysis.

After completing their education, Dr. Amin joined Analytical Solutions Pvt. LTD. in India as an Analytical Chemist. Hardik then moved to Southern Illinois University, where they held the role of Research Assistant. In this position, they conducted speciation studies on Secondary Organic Aerosols (SOA) using solvent extraction and GC/MS methodologies. Additionally, they served as a Teaching Assistant, teaching courses such as Instrumental Analysis, Inorganic Chemistry, and General Chemistry.

Continuing their academic pursuits, Dr. Amin joined UC Davis as a Postdoctoral Researcher in the Air Quality Group. Here, they designed and developed technology for preparing reference materials used in the analysis of environmentally collected field samples. This work contributed to the improvement of air monitoring networks in the US-EPA network.

Following their time at UC Davis, Dr. Amin worked at Environmental Micro Analysis as a Chemist and later Senior Chemist. In this position, they focused on the development of pesticide residue analysis methods using LCMSMS. Hardik also researched and developed extraction methods for glyphosate analysis from herbal supplements, expanding the current method and exploring new markets.

Most recently, Dr. Amin joined Pacific BioLabs, Inc. as a Senior Chemist/Scientist I.

Hardik Amin, Ph.D. has a strong educational background in chemistry. Hardik began their education at the University of Mumbai, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Chemistry from 2000 to 2003. Following this, they pursued a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Inorganic Chemistry at the same university from 2003 to 2005.

In recognition of their passion for academia, Hardik continued their education at Southern Illinois University, Carbondale, from 2006 to 2012. During this time, they pursued a Ph.D. degree in Analytical Chemistry, with a specialization in Environmental Chemistry. Hardik successfully completed their Ph.D. and obtained the degree in August 2012.

In addition to their academic achievements, Hardik Amin holds a certification for their Ph.D. from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale, which they received in August 2012. This certification further highlights their expertise and dedication within the field of chemistry.
