Workshop and Prototyping laboratory lead at Avular

Lukas B. has a diverse range of work experiences spanning over a decade. Lukas started their career at Elroz Development as an Electro Mechanical Technician, where they were responsible for electrical installations in manufacturing companies. Lukas then worked at G4S Cash Services as a Money Processor, handling the reception and transmission of money consignments.

Lukas then transitioned into the technology field, joining PEGATRON Czech as a Repair Technician, where they repaired various products such as cable modems, computer and notebook motherboards, set-top boxes, TVs, and graphic cards. Lukas later became a Team Leader in the system repair department, leading a group of 12 people and overseeing the analysis and fixing of incoming computer problems.

Moving forward, Lukas worked at Pegatron Service Holland B.V. as a Process and Production Engineer. In this role, they focused on process and hardware/software engineering, improving production processes, creating standard operation procedures, training new operators, maintaining software on production lines, and conducting various testing activities. Lukas was responsible for maintaining computer networks and stream systems, generating OS images, and collecting and reporting production line data.

Lukas then gained further experience in the technology industry by working as a Service Engineer at Prodrive Technologies, where they provided service and support for engineering systems. Lukas subsequently joined Advantech as a Production Engineer, working on improving production processes and solving production and quality issues.

Prior to their current role, Lukas worked at Supermicro as a Production Engineer, where they focused on production processes and ensuring the efficient operation of the manufacturing line. Lukas then joined Shapeways as a Service Engineer, providing technical support and resolving customer issues.

Currently, Lukas is employed as the Workshop and Prototyping Laboratory Lead at Avular, where they are responsible for leading the workshop and prototyping laboratory.

Lukas B. attended the High School of Electrical and Mechanical Engineering in Havířov, Czech Republic from 2004 to 2008. During their time there, they pursued a degree in Electronics Engineering, with a focus on computer technology and programming (ISCED 3A).

In addition to their formal education, Lukas has obtained several certifications. In July 2022, they received the HP Jet Fusion 4200 3D Printing Solution Train to Maintain Certification VLT from HP. In December 2021, they obtained the edX Verified Certificate for Six Sigma: Define and Measure from edX.
