Islande R. currently serves as the Directrice du Centre Maternel Le Prélude at AVVEJ since October 2023. With extensive experience in the social and medical fields, Islande R. held various roles at Association Aurore from September 2005 to October 2023, including Psychologue aux Appartements de Coordination Thérapeutique, Directrice stagiaire in several therapeutic and housing programs, and Psychologue in multiple settings supporting vulnerable populations. Notable past work includes initiatives for families facing chronic illnesses, the incarcerated, and those affected by substance addiction. Islande R. has also completed multiple internships in residential care and social services management, complemented by an educational background in psychology and social structure management, including a CAFDES degree from IRTS Parmentier.

L’AVVEJ est une association qui intervient auprès d’enfants, d’adolescents, de jeunes adultes et de familles en difficulté. Depuis plus de 50 ans, son action résulte de la demande sociale et de sa force de proposition associative, fondée sur son expertise, son expérience de terrain et ses convictions. L’AVVEJ est habilitée par l’Aide sociale à l’enfance et le Ministère de la Justice.
