Rico Frans

Rico Frans is an accomplished IT and digital analytics professional with extensive experience in various leadership roles. Currently serving as the Chief IT Digital and Analytics at PT. XL Axiata Tbk since September 2023, Rico also holds the position of Commissioner at AwanTunai and previously at LinkAja. Rico has a strong background in banking, having served as the Director of IT and IT and Operations Director at PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk. from March 2016 to March 2021, and as SEVP Transaction Banking Directorate and SVP Electronic Banking Group earlier at Bank Mandiri. Rico's career includes significant tenure at Citibank, N.A. - Indonesia as Country Marketing Director and as a Field Engineer at Schlumberger. Rico holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from Institut Teknologi Bandung and has furthered education through programs at esteemed institutions such as Cambridge, MIT, IMD, and the University of California, Berkeley.
