Biraj Shakya

Biraj Shakya has a strong background in data engineering and software development, with experience in various roles spanning over 13 years. Most recently, Biraj worked as a Senior Data Engineer at Aware Super starting in August 2021. Prior to that, Biraj served as a Database Software Engineer at CPA Global from August 2019 to July 2021. Biraj also worked as a Software Developer (Database) at Tibra Capital for a short period from March 2019 to July 2019. Before joining Tibra Capital, Biraj worked as a Database Developer at IRI from January 2013 to March 2019. Biraj's earlier experience includes a role as an SQL Developer at Cotiviti from June 2008 to August 2012.

Biraj Shakya obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering from Tribhuvan University, IOE, Pulchowk Campus from 2003 to 2007. In addition, they have also obtained the following certifications: Microsoft SQL Server 2012 Programming from IKM TeckChek in December 2018, AIM Professional Presentation from the Australian Institute of Management NSW & ACT in August 2014, Oracle Database 11g Administrator Certified Associate (OCA) from Oracle in August 2012, HIPAA Privacy & Security - Business Associates III from BridgeFront in January 2012, and Certified ScrumMaster from Scrum Alliance in November 2009.
