Josh Phillips

Josh Phillips has a diverse range of work experience in the finance industry. Josh began their career as an Investments Graduate at Perpetual Investments in 2012 and later worked as an Investment Administration Analyst and a Global Equities Analyst at Perpetual Limited. In 2014, Josh joined Perpetual Investments again as part of their Investment Analyst Program. In 2019, they joined Auscap Asset Management as a Global Investment Analyst, where they played a crucial role in the launch of the Auscap Global Share Fund. Currently, Josh is working at Aware Super as an Associate Portfolio Manager, where they manage portfolios and provides research coverage for the Australian equities consumer sector. Overall, Josh has developed strong skills in research, portfolio management, and equity analysis throughout their career.

Josh began their education at Davidson High School from 2002 to 2007, where they obtained a Higher School Certificate with a UAI of 90.05.

After graduating high school, Josh attended Macquarie University from 2008 to 2010. During this time, they pursued a Bachelor of Commerce degree with a focus on Finance.

In 2014, Josh enrolled in the Investment Analyst Program - Equities at Perpetual Investments. Josh completed this program in 2015, gaining further expertise in Investment Analysis.

Josh's highest level of education was attained at the CFA Institute from 2012 to 2016. Josh obtained their CFA charterholder degree, specializing in Finance and Investments. In February 2016, they also earned the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder certification from the CFA Institute.
