AJ Naddell has a diverse range of work experience in various industries. They began their career as a Marketing Consultant/Summer Intern at Africa Adventure Company, where they focused on designing a new company website and developing a marketing strategy. They then moved on to MediaTek, where they served as an Analyst Relations/Public Relations & IoT Strategy Intern, creating a marketing and IoT product strategy and leading corporate messaging efforts.

After that, AJ worked at Olin Business School as the Head Microeconomics Teaching Assistant, where they taught Microeconomics principles and managed a team of teaching assistants. They later founded WUPS, LLC, a company that offered device insurance and services for buying, selling, and repairing smartphones. In this role, AJ set the company strategy, managed operations, and led a team.

AJ then joined BYD as the Business Development Leader for Electric Trucks, where they secured new orders from national and global truck fleets and developed a marketing strategy for BYD trucks. They also built a financial model comparing electric to conventional vehicles, which became a standard model for several government departments.

Moving on to IBM, AJ held several roles including Program Director in Product Management, Product Leader in AI Applications, Corporate Strategist Analyst Relations, Analyst Relations Manager in Watson IoT, and Program Manager in Watson Customer Engagement/Watson IoT. In these positions, AJ launched new products, closed deals resulting in substantial savings for customers, launched Analyst Relations 2.0, and managed key analyst reports.

AJ then joined Imageware as the Senior Vice President of Product Management & Sales, where they managed multiple departments, developed financial models, negotiated an acquisition, and created a 5-year product strategy to restructure the company.

Following that, AJ worked at TECH5 as the Senior Vice President of Product Management & Sales, and at SPV Comedy LLC as a Producer, expanding into documentaries and other media forms and overseeing financing and development of high-quality media content.

Currently, AJ is the Chief Product Officer at Aware, Inc.

AJ Naddell holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a focus on Marketing from Washington University in St. Louis. They also attended Cardinal Gibbons High School. In terms of additional certifications, AJ has obtained several certifications from IBM, including "IBM Security Identity and Access Management Technical Sales Foundations - Level 100" in 2021 and "Introduction to Artificial Intelligence (AI)" in 2020. They have also earned certifications in various IBM courses such as "Market Opportunity," "Offering Manager - Accelerating SaaS," and "IoT - Intro to IBM IoT Safer Workplace." Additionally, they have acquired certifications in topics such as Enterprise Design Thinking Practitioner and IBM Blockchain Essentials.
