Michael Michie has a extensive work experience that spans over several decades. Michael has held various leadership positions in renowned companies within the telecom industry. Their most recent role is as the Sr. Vice President - Head of Customer Success and Global Delivery at AwareX since 2022. Prior to this, they served as the Vice President | Head of Global Service Delivery at CSG from 2018 to 2022, where they led the transformation and consolidation of delivery organizations to improve service to customers worldwide.
Before that, they worked at Amdocs from 2013 to 2018 as the Vice President - Global Managed Services, overseeing business development for managed services contracts. Michael successfully landed a significant service transformation and management contract with a North American wireless operator.
From 2006 to 2012, Michie was the Vice President - Consulting Services at Amdocs, where they expanded a new service line and delivered executive consulting to tier-1 carriers throughout the Americas. Michael also led system integration engagements for complex wireless network overhauls and consolidation initiatives.
Prior to that, they held the position of Strategy Consulting Partner at BusinessEdge Solutions from 2005 to 2006, where they developed customer experience strategies and digital transformation roadmaps for telecom companies. Michael was also engaged by a large chip manufacturer to work on partnership models for launching mobile virtual network operators (MVNO).
Michie started their career at Amdocs in 2004 as a Marketing Executive, where they developed marketing strategies and programs for the telecom vertical. Prior to that, they worked at Sprint from 1997 to 2004, holding various roles including Senior Director - Multi-Channel Customer Experience Strategy and Senior Director - Product Development.
Michael began their career as a Senior Systems Engineer at Electronic Data Systems from 1989 to 1997, where they participated in the launch of billing operations at Sprint PCS and was involved in sales of large BSS development and managed service proposals for Telefónica de España.
