Sam van Slooten

Sam Van Slooten is a skilled designer with extensive experience in the bags and accessories sector. Currently serving as a Senior Designer at Away since January 2019, Sam has held various positions within the company, including Designer and Associate Designer. Prior to this role, Sam worked as a Product Designer at Freshly Picked, Inc. from January 2017 to January 2019, and gained valuable experience as an Industrial Designer at Wasatch Design Collective from September 2014 to April 2017. Additional internships in product design further enriched Sam's skill set. Sam holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Industrial and Product Design, with a minor in Art History, from Brigham Young University, earned between 2012 and 2017.
