Shane Ham

Shane Ham has extensive work experience in the field of IT and software development. Shane is currently the Director of IT Delivery at AWC, Inc., where they have been working since May 2022. Previously, they held the position of Software Development Project Manager at the same company from April 2021 to May 2022.

Prior to joining AWC, Inc., Shane worked at AgriSompo North America as an Applications Programming Manager for a short period in early 2021.

From 2012 to 2020, they worked at CGB Enterprises, Inc. in various roles, including Applications Programming Manager and Project Manager. As a Senior Software Engineer, they led a team of 5 and successfully delivered an occasionally connected application using Agile methodologies.

Before CGB Enterprises, Inc., Shane worked at Geocent as a Senior Software Engineer, where they specialized in the technical implementation of communication interfaces. Shane was also a Software Developer at Zen-Noh Grain Corp, where they incorporated the use of Sharepoint and developed a document generator.

At Planet Beach Franchising Corporation, Shane worked as a Software Developer, focusing on converting and enhancing existing systems. Shane was also a Software Developer at GCR & Associates, Inc., where they worked on an Asp.net application for a criminal court.

Shane's career began in 1993 as a Senior Airman in the Louisiana Air National Guard, where they served until 1999.

Shane Ham's education history begins with their enrollment in the University of New Orleans from 1998 to 2000. During this time, they studied Computer Science but did not obtain a degree. Shane then transferred to Tulane University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Information Systems from 2000 to 2002.

In addition to their formal education, Shane Ham has acquired several certifications. Shane obtained the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute in October 2014. In June 2014, they also received the Professional Scrum Master (PSM I) certification from Scrum.org. More recently, in June 2023, they attained both the Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) certification from the Scrum Alliance and the Disciplined Agile Senior Scrum Master (DASSM) certification from the Project Management Institute.

Furthermore, Shane Ham has pursued various Microsoft certifications, including MCPD: Sharepoint Developer 2010, MCPD: Web Developer 2.0, 3.5, 4.0, MCPD: Windows Developer 4.0, and Microsoft Certified Application Developer (MCAD).
