Alexander Friedrich

Alexander Friedrich currently serves as the Vorsitzender Fachausschuss Europa at BAGFW, where leadership of the committee is held during the AWO's presidency in 2023 and 2024. Since August 2022, Alexander also leads the European Office in Brussels for both Volkshilfe Österreich and AWO Bundesverband e.V., engaging with European umbrella organizations such as SOLIDAR. In addition to these roles, Alexander has been a lecturer at FH-Campus Wien since 2014, overseeing courses related to European strategies and public administration. Previous experience includes serving as the office manager for a collaborative office representing multiple organizations in Brussels and a position as Social Economy Coordinator at SOLIDAR. Alexander holds a Mag. phil. degree in Political Science and Government from the University of Vienna.
