Mark Ludewig Ms

Mark Ludewig MS, CSP, CHST, STS, SMS has over 30 years of experience in Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) roles. Mark is currently the Vice President of EHS & Training at AWP Safety, where they lead the development and implementation of safety programs and ensures compliance with safety regulations. Prior to this, they served as the Vice President of EHS and People at TurnPoint Services, where they established systems and protocols for EHS compliance across North America. Mark has also held the position of Global Vice President of EHS at The AMES Companies, Inc., where they developed and implemented core standards and management systems for health, safety, security, and the environment. Mark has extensive experience in corporate EHS management, having served as the Corporate Vice President of Environmental, Health, Safety & Fleet Driver Safety at BrightView Landscapes and the Corporate Global Director of Safety at Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company. Earlier in their career, Mark held various EHS management positions at Abco Safety, AK Steel Corporation, and Wheeling Pittsburgh Steel/Wheeling Nisshin. Mark has a Master's degree in EHS and holds several certifications in the field.

Mark Ludewig has a Master of Science (MS) degree in Safety Management from West Virginia University, which they obtained from 1996 to 1998. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Psychology from West Liberty University, from 1985 to 1990.

In addition to their education, Mark has obtained several certifications from the Board of Certified Safety Professionals. These certifications include Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Construction Health and Safety Technician (CHST), Safety Management Specialist (SMS), and Safety Trained Supervisor (STS). Each certification was obtained in the months of June in various years ranging from 2016 to 2020.
