Alexander Chiu

Alexander Chiu has extensive work experience in the healthcare industry. Alexander currently serves as the Medical Director at AXA Hong Kong and Macau. Prior to this, they were the Chief Operating Officer at Gleneagles Hong Kong Hospital and the Executive Medical Director at Quality HealthCare Medical Services Limited. Alexander also held the position of Chief Manager at Hospital Authority and served as a Service Director and Associate Consultant at Queen Mary Hospital. In addition, Alexander worked as a Medical Officer at United Christian Hospital and started their career as a Medical Intern at Hospital Authority.

Alexander Chiu received their education in the field of Medicine. Alexander obtained their MBChB degree from The Chinese University of Hong Kong between 1988 and 1993. Alexander also received additional certifications, including Fellow in Medicine from the Hong Kong Academy of Medicine and the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh. Additionally, they pursued a Surveyor degree at the Australian Council of Healthcare Standards from 2009 to 2020.
