David Brooks

David Brooks, CPCU, ARM, serves as the XLI Chief Risk Officer at XL Insurance, a role assumed in 2005 after joining XL Group in 1998 as a key member of the team that established its Aerospace underwriting operations, ultimately generating premiums exceeding $380M by 2004. With an extensive background in the insurance brokerage industry, David held the position of Senior Vice President at both Alexander & Alexander, Inc. and Sedgwick, focusing on large, multi-national Fortune 500 accounts for a total of 16 years at each firm. David holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Insurance from the University of Southern California and a Master of Science in Business with a concentration in Risk Management and Insurance from Florida State University.
