Louise Nevill Acii

Louise Nevill ACII is currently the Chief Underwriting Officer Specialty for AXA XL in the UK and Lloyd's, a position held since September 2025. Louise serves as a Liveryman for The Worshipful Company of Shipwrights since March 2024. Prior to this, Louise was the CEO of Marine, Cargo & Logistics at Marsh from January 2020 to September 2025, overseeing various broking teams and chairing the LIIBA Marine Executive Committee. Louise has extensive experience in underwriting, having held leadership positions at Gard AS, W/R/B Underwriting, Talbot Underwriting Ltd, and Markel International. Educational background includes a degree in Biological Science from the University of Reading and designation as a Chartered Insurer from the Chartered Insurance Institute.
