Marguerite Smith

Marguerite Smith is an experienced claims manager with extensive expertise in workers' compensation and reinsurance. Currently serving as the Claims Manager for Workers' Compensation Reinsurance at XL Catlin since May 2017, Marguerite previously held the position of Workers' Compensation Claims Manager at Zurich North America, where responsibilities included directing a team managing claims across multiple jurisdictions. Prior experience includes serving as NE Claims Workers' Compensation Supervisor at Selective Insurance, overseeing a claims team in the Northeast, and various roles at Zurich North America and CNA, where Marguerite managed claims and underwriting operations. Marguerite holds a BA in Psychology and Biology from Cornell University, earned between 1974 and 1979.
