Priah Nadarajan has a diverse work experience in the field of research and scientific study. Starting in 2002, Priah worked as a Masters Student at the Indian Veterinary Research Institute, where they developed a serodiagnostic assay for detecting early stages of Fasciola gigantic infection in ruminants. They compared the efficiency of native and recombinant cathepsin-L cysteine protease in detecting the infection.

In 2005, Priah joined the University of Minnesota as a Graduate Research Fellow, contributing to research efforts in an unspecified field. They worked in this role until 2010.

From 2011 to 2017, Priah worked as a Post-doctoral Fellow at Harvard University, where they focused on their research interests.

In 2017, Priah became a Research Associate at Harvard Medical School, contributing to various research projects. They held this position until December 2021.

In 2021, Priah joined Axcella as a Scientist, where they worked until June 2023.

Saravanapriah Nadarajan, also known as Priah, has a comprehensive education history in various fields. From 1996 to 2001, Priah attended the Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Veterinary Education and Research, where they pursued their Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry (B.V.Sc & A.H). Following this, Priah pursued further education at the Indian Veterinary Research Institute from 2002 to 2004, where they obtained their Master's degree (M.V.Sc) in Veterinary Parasitology. Priah continued their academic journey by joining the University of Minnesota in 2006, where they spent four years completing their Doctoral degree (Ph.D.) in Molecular, Cell, Developmental Biology, and Genetics.
