Paolo Battistotti

Paolo Battistotti is an experienced engineer specializing in testing and diagnostics within the railway industry. Currently employed at Axcent Company since September 2020, Paolo has focused on control room diagnostics for POP trains and Vectron locomotives through partnerships with Alstom and Siemens. Prior to this role, Paolo's career included significant testing positions at SITAV, MF Service, and M.A.I.E.R. Project, primarily working on IC4 Ansaldobreda diesel trains for the Danish State Railways (DSB) at the San Nicolò plant. Paolo began their professional journey at Trenitalia, contributing to the maintenance of ETR500 Frecciarossa trains, and initially worked at Bombardier Transportation, where involvement in the engineering and commissioning of the ETR500 occurred. Paolo holds a degree in Electronic Engineering from Università di Pavia, awarded in 1994.
