Gian Guido Parenza (He/Him)

Gian Guido Parenza has a wealth of experience in the fields of engineering and research. Gian Guido began his career in 2018 as an Undergraduate Student Researcher at BrainSigns, where he worked on a signal processing research project. In 2019, he worked as a Graduate Student Researcher at both the Universitätsspital Zürich and the Paul Scherrer Institut PSI. At PSI, he worked on a computer vision research project which led to the development of an image analysis software. Also in 2019, he became a Teaching Assistant at ETH Zürich for the Biomedical Engineering master's course. In 2020, he worked at Synthara AG as both a Machine Learning Scientist and a Graduate Engineer. Currently, he is a Deep Learning Engineer at Axelera AI.

Gian Guido Parenza has a strong educational background. From 2015 to 2018, he earned a Laurea triennale in Ingegneria Clinica from Sapienza Università di Roma in the field of Biomedical/Medical Engineering. In 2018, he completed an MSc in Biomedical Engineering from ETH Zürich. In 2019, he attended EXCITE Zurich for Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering. Additionally, he has obtained certifications in Russian A1 from the University of Zurich in May 2020 and IELTS - C1 from the British Council in December 2017.
