Angela Kluwin

Angela Kluwin is a seasoned development professional with extensive experience in the nonprofit arts sector. Currently serving as the Development Director at Axelrod Performing Arts Center since 2025, Kluwin previously held roles such as Director of Special Campaigns & Major Gifts at George Street Playhouse (2023-2024) and Associate Director of Development at Two River Theater (2019-2023). Kluwin's background also includes program coordination for PennPAC from 2016 to 2019, where operational support was provided to engage University of Pennsylvania alumni as volunteer consultants for NYC nonprofits. Prior to these roles, Kluwin was the Sales Director for The New York Times in Education (2008-2015) and Education Account Manager at The New York Times (2005-2008). Kluwin began a career in media as Operations Director for the Washington Square News at New York University (1998-2005). Academic credentials include an MA in Communications from New York University and a BA in History and Dance from American University.
