Doug Newdick

Doug Newdick is an experienced cybersecurity and architecture professional with a diverse background spanning over two decades. Currently serving as Consulting Lead at Axenic Ltd since April 2020, Doug provides quality outcomes through leadership of cybersecurity consultants. Previous roles include Chief Security Officer at Callaghan Innovation, where Doug integrated physical, cyber, and personal security functions, and Chief Architect (Acting) at the Tertiary Education Commission, offering architectural expertise. At Pacific Community-SPC, Doug excelled as Solutions Architect while also taking on project management and advisory roles across various initiatives. Doug's extensive experience in enterprise architecture is underscored by leadership positions at the Department of Internal Affairs (NZ) and consultative roles at Davanti Consulting and Telecom New Zealand. Doug holds a BA (Hons) in Philosophy from Victoria University of Wellington.
