Jean Sentenac

Jean Sentenac is the current CEO and Chairman of the board at Axens. Prior to this, Jean held the position of Deputy Executive Officer at IFP Energies nouvelles from January 2000 to December 2001. Before that, Jean was the Managing Director at Rhodia from January 1995 to December 2000 where they specialized in Custom Chemicals Contract Manufacturing. From 1990 to 1995, Jean was the Profit Center Manager for Europe at Rhône-Poulenc USA and prior to that they were the Gas Sales Projects Manager for Italy and Spain at Air Liquide from 1984 to 1990.

Jean Sentenac attended the École Polytechnique, a prestigious engineering school in France. Jean then went on to earn a Masters in Refining and Chemical Engineering from the Ecole Nationale Supérieure du Pétrole et des Moteurs. Finally, they attended the CEDEP-INSEAD Executive Development program at Fontainebleau.
