Taryn Burhanna is an accomplished adult nurse and gerontology practitioner currently serving at AxessPointe Community Health Centers since January 2019. Taryn has also held various academic roles at Kent State University since January 2016, including lecturer, clinical instructor, and clinical assistant professor. Prior experience includes working as a registered nurse at University Hospitals from May 2017 to May 2018 and at Cleveland Clinic from August 2010 to November 2016. Taryn holds a Master of Science in Nursing with a specialization in Adult/Gerontology Primary Care from Kent State University, achieved between 2015 and 2018, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the same institution, completed in 2010.

An FQHC is a not-for-profit corporation that delivers primary medical, dental and preventive health services in medically underserved areas.
