Devdutt Patnaik

Devdutt Patnaik's work experience includes roles at various companies in the technology industry. Devdutt is currently employed at Axiado Corporation as a Principal Engineer, where they are responsible for building platform software for AI-enabled cybersecurity chips. Prior to this, they worked at Ossillate as Head of Engineering & Growth/Partnerships. At Qualcomm, they held multiple roles including Senior Staff Engineering Manager, Staff Engineering Manager, and Staff Engineer. Their responsibilities at Qualcomm included project engineering, commercialization of wireless access solutions, and leading software development teams. Before Qualcomm, Patnaik worked as a Graduate Researcher at the Georgia Institute of Technology in the field of information security and privacy. Devdutt also gained experience at Wipro Technologies as a Technical Lead, where they designed and implemented an embedded firewall. Earlier in their career, they worked at CygNet Software as a Software Engineer, focusing on securing computers and developing embedded platforms. Devdutt also worked as a Software Consultant at Perfect the Picture Technologies, where they implemented scene change detection algorithms.

Devdutt Patnaik completed their High School education from Bishop's School Pune, affiliated with the ICSE Board, between 1986 and 1995. Devdutt then pursued a Higher Secondary Certificate in Science from St. Vincent's High School from 1995 to 1997. Afterward, they attended Pune Institute of Computer Technology from 1997 to 2001, where they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Engineering. Later, from 2007 to 2009, they pursued a Master of Science degree at the Georgia Institute of Technology, majoring in Computer Science with a specialization in Systems and Networking. Additionally, they completed a minor in Cybersecurity during their time at Georgia Tech.
