Martin Plattner

Martin Plattner is a seasoned cybersecurity professional with extensive experience in offensive and defensive security. Currently serving as Lead Cyber Security Consultant at Axians ICT Austria GmbH since May 2021, Martin has successfully executed over 40 projects in various security domains. As the owner of mplattner.at since December 2011, Martin has built a thriving business focused on information security consulting and software engineering, completing more than 20 security-related projects. Past roles include contributions to The Honeynet Project during the Google Summer of Code, and project research at the Security and Privacy Lab at Universität Innsbruck, where Martin co-authored a publication on blockchain analysis. With a solid educational background that includes multiple degrees in Computer Science and Business Computer Science, Martin's technical expertise is complemented by experience in project management and a strong foundation in humanitarian service as a paramedic.
