Krastan Krastev

Krastan Krastev has over 20 years of work experience. In 1999, they began their career as a System Administrator at Commercial League Inc. In 2002, they became a Teaching Assistant at FNB, TU-Darmstadt. In 2005, they joined Acsior as a Java Developer, and later moved up to become a Team Leader, Reporting and BI, then a Software Architect, TL Reporting and BI, and finally a Solution Designer, TL Reporting and BI, PM. In 2012, they became CIO and co-founder at Zekatex Ltd. In 2014, they moved to Aviaso as a Senior Software Engineer. In 2015, they joined Honeywell Aviaso as a Senior Software Engineer, and was promoted to Development Manager, managing a team of developers and performing hands-on R&D activities. Currently, Krastan Krastev is R&D Manager at Axilion Smart Mobility - AI (TLV:AILN).

Krastan Krastev has a diverse educational background. Krastan obtained a Hardware specialist degree from Technical School "Electronic systems" in 1996-2000, followed by a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics from Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridski in 2000-2001. Krastan then completed a Master of Science (MSc) in Numerical Methods and Mechanics of Continua from the same university in 2000-2001. Afterwards, they pursued a PhD in Numerical Methods in Engeneering at TU-Darmstadt from 2001-2005. In addition, Krastev has obtained various certifications, such as the 7 Habits for Managers from FranklinCovey in 2017, IBM Certified Advanced Application Developer - Rational Application Developer for WebSphere v6.0 from IBM in 2008, and WebSphere Solutions Sales Professional v4 from IBM in 2010.
