Nathan Spangler

Nathan Spangler has over 20 years of experience in the geospatial industry. Nathan began their career in 2000 as a Geospatial Analyst at DigitalGlobe. In 2001, they joined Space Imaging as a QA Analyst, where they performed quality control and accuracy assessments for imagery products. In 2003, they returned to Leidos as a GIS Systems Engineer, where they were responsible for developing geospatial solutions and technical processes. In 2014, they joined NISC as an Engineering & Operations Support Team Lead, leading a team of 13 specialists. That same year, they also joined Continental Mapping Consultants as the VP Strategy & Business Development Intel, a role in which they pursued and won new business, managed relationships, and visioned new solutions. In 2022, they joined Axim Geospatial as the VP Strategy & Business Development Intel and Federal.

Nathan Spangler received their Bachelor in Cartography from Missouri State University and their Masters of Science in Geography from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville. Nathan obtained their Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute in September 2021 and their Certified Mapping Scientist (CMS) certification from ASPRS in April 2010.
