Richard Dagen is an Antitrust Partner at Axinn, Veltrop & Harkrider LLP, where the focus includes merger and non-merger litigation, advising on case merits, and participating in federal and administrative trials since January 2014. Prior to this, Richard Dagen held various positions at the Federal Trade Commission from June 1990 to January 2014, ultimately serving as Special Counsel to the Director. Richard's legal career began as an Associate at Venable and Sidley Austin, and included a role as Counsel to the Chairman at the U.S. International Trade Commission. Additionally, Richard has experience in academia, serving as an Adjunct Professor at Boston University School of Law and as a Kramer Fellow at Harvard Law School. Richard Dagen earned a JD from Emory University School of Law, an M.Phil. in Economics from Yale University, and a BA in Economics from the University of Chicago.
