James Williamson

James Williamson has a diverse work experience in the field of UX design and technology. James is currently working as a Lead UX Engineer at Axino, where they started in January 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Usability Advisor at Axino from September 2022 to January 2023. Before joining Axino, James served as a Tech Advisor at Chojuu, starting in April 2022. James also worked as a UX Designer at Archlet from June 2022 to January 2023. James has previous experience as the Co-Founder and Head of Design/CTO at RETURE, an upcycling platform and sustainable fashion marketplace. During their time at RETURE from September 2021 to June 2022, they were responsible for creating UX designs, developing the upcycling process, implementing the marketplace, and analyzing site metrics and feedback. Prior to RETURE, James worked as a Senior UX Designer at zhiwen from August 2019 to May 2020, and as a UX Designer from July 2018 to August 2019.

James Williamson began their education at the International School of Zug and Luzern, where they completed their high school education from 2007 to 2011. James then proceeded to Lancaster University, where they pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science with honors from 2013 to 2016. After their undergraduate studies, James pursued a Master's Degree in Human Computer Interaction at the University of St Andrews from 2016 to 2017. In 2018, they attended Tsinghua University, participating in a Chinese Language Program.
