Chris M. has a diverse range of work experience in software engineering roles. Chris began their career as a Software Engineer at The Ideas Maker, where they worked on redesigning the company webpage and adding user-interface features to an iOS app. Chris then interned as an iOS/Web Developer at TravSolo, where they focused on recreating the company's website using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

Following their internships, Chris joined Barclays Investment Bank as a Summer Technology Analyst. Here, they contributed to the development of a conversational chatbot, automating manual workflows and integrating a speech recognition engine.

Chris then joined SAP Conversational AI as a Software Engineer, before moving to SAP Concur as a Software Engineer. At both companies, they worked on implementing various technologies and features, such as feature-toggle configurations, package-based architecture, and front-end refactoring.

In 2020, Chris became the Chief Technology Officer at Quirkshop, where they built a live-streaming platform using React, Node.js, Elixir, and MongoDB. Chris also worked at SAP as a Full Stack Engineer, aiding in the delivery of an opinionated component library and mentoring junior developers.

Their most recent role was as a Software Engineer at Overflow, where they improved the performance and user experience of the Overflow for Corporations (OFC) product. Chris also collaborated with stakeholders to create a product roadmap and delivered the Nonprofit Dashboard 2.0 and a server based on CLEAN architecture.

Currently, Chris works as a Software Engineer at Axio.
