Kauffman was self-employed from April 2012 to May 2023, focusing on project management, install services, and custom fabrications. Previous roles include Exhibit Builder at Formations, Inc. (April 2019 - April 2021), 3D Fabricator at PVS In-Store Graphics (July 2017 - April 2018), Fabricator at Figure Plant (January 2017 - May 2017), Graphics Installer at Forge Graphic Works, Inc. (July 2016 - January 2017), and Fabricator/Lead Installer at Guild (June 2015 - July 2016). Kauffman studied at Messiah University from 2004 to 2005 and at the University of Montana from 2002 to 2004.
