Ahmad Jiha

Ahmad Jiha has a diverse work experience in software engineering and research. Ahmad worked as a Software Engineer at Axiom Data Science starting in 2023. Prior to that, they co-created and worked as a Software Engineer at Conifer from June 2022 to March 2023, where they designed a test parallelization framework for Cypress E2E test suites. Additionally, they participated in Launch School's Software Engineer Capstone Program from September 2021 to September 2022, where they developed web applications using various technologies.

Ahmad also gained experience as a Research Assistant at the University of California, San Francisco from September 2019 to September 2021. In this role, they automated subject recruitment procedures, built an ETL pipeline for clinical research data, and coordinated the development of a mobile app for a remote clinical trial.

Furthermore, Ahmad served as the Health Worker Coordinator at Berkeley Student Cooperative from July 2020 to December 2020, managing the program and designing a mental-health program for residents during the COVID-19 pandemic. Ahmad also held the position of Unit-Level President from September 2019 to June 2020, overseeing management responsibilities, coordinating a COVID-19 health quarantine, and resolving unit-level issues.

Ahmad's early experience includes working as an Undergraduate Student Instructor at the University of California, Berkeley in the Department of Molecular and Cell Biology during the summer of 2019. In this role, they instructed undergraduate students in laboratory techniques and ensured safety protocols were followed.
