Tanya Coetzee P.Geo

Tanya Coetzee P.Geo has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and companies. Tanya began their career in 2011 as an Electron Microscope Assistant at Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University, where they worked until 2013. In 2014, Tanya joined Meridian Surveys as a Draftsperson and remained with the company until 2018. During their time at Meridian Surveys, they gained experience in drafting.

In 2018, Tanya joined Axiom Exploration Group as a Junior Geologist and also took on the role of Geoscientist. Tanya worked in these positions until 2021. In January 2021, they transitioned to the role of Special Projects Manager at Axiom Exploration Group for a brief period of six months. Following this, Tanya was promoted to Vice President of Geophysics & Geomatics in June 2021, a role in which they are currently serving.

Tanya Coetzee P.Geo began their education journey by completing their high school education at Framesby High School from 2003 to 2007, obtaining their Matric qualification. Afterward, they went on to pursue a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Geology/Earth Science at Nelson Mandela University, where they studied from 2008 to 2011.

In addition to their formal education, Tanya Coetzee has also obtained several certifications. Tanya completed the Applied Project Management certification, Structured Project Management certification, and Leading from the Middle certification from UBC Sauder Continuing Business Studies. Tanya obtained these certifications in March 2022 and February 2022, respectively.
