Job description

We are currently seeking a Medical Device Attorney to work with a multi-national pharmaceutical and medical device company as lead counsel advising internal teams on commercial proposals, product launches, and regulatory risks.

This opportunity enables you to leverage your depth of experience and expertise to join a dynamic legal team on a permanent basis with substantial growth and development opportunity. Ideal candidates will have 10+ years of experience and must work on a hybrid basis in the Dallas/Fort Worth metro area (relocation costs covered).

Responsibilities:

  • Act as subject matter expert, supporting the company’s medical device franchising and commercial teams applying deep legal expertise and practices with superior working knowledge.
  • Build relationships with and counsel senior business partners and senior management on complex matters including commercial proposals, new product launches, and the integration of acquisitions.
  • Anticipate and provide assessments of changing regulations while identifying vital changes to internal policies and processes.
  • Assess, manage and monitor legal risks to the organization and articulate identified risks to management.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 8 -10+ years of relevant experience in the medical device industry.
  • Experience in a leadership role, managing junior attorneys and providing guidance, support, and training cross-functionally.
  • Efficient multitasker combined with strong interpersonal skills and an ability to work both independently and collaboratively across a multinational organization.
  • Positive mentality and willingness to tackle new and ever-changing business needs.
  • License to practice law, in good standing.
  • Willing to work in-office in Dallas-Fort Worth Metro area. Out-of-state candidates will be considered, but must be willing to relocate spring 2024. Relocation package can be offered.

 

Compensation, Benefits & Location:

This role offers a range of competitive compensation starting at $205,000 and a highly competitive benefits package in the alternative legal services marketplace that includes health benefits, 401K and more.  Axiomites also get access to professional development resources and learning and development programs. Axiomites predominately work remotely, with the exception that some clients require on-site presence.
