Virginia Tate

Virginia Tate is a highly experienced legal professional specializing in data privacy, currently serving as a Global Data Privacy Attorney at Axiom since December 2017, where counsel is provided to major corporations such as UPS and Dell Technologies. Prior to this role, Virginia Tate was the Founding Partner of Tate Privacy Consulting LLC, offering expert counsel and developing privacy programs for clients including Georgia-Pacific and the American Cancer Society. With a background that includes significant positions at Equifax, where Virginia Tate co-led the Compliance Office, and at AT&T as both Senior Counsel and Contract Attorney, a robust foundation in regulatory compliance and legal strategy has been established. Virginia Tate holds a B.A. in Art History from The University of the South and a J.D. from the University of South Carolina.
