Alexis Rios currently serves as a Payload Mission Integrator and Mission Operations Payload Engineer at Axiom Space since November 2022. Prior to this role, Alexis worked at Leidos from August 2016 to November 2022, holding titles such as Sustaining Engineering Lead, Crew Provisions Lead, and Project Engineer II, primarily focusing on the Stowage and Restraints hardware group for the International Space Station. Alexis gained experience as an Associate Project Engineer at Lockheed Martin in early 2016, contributing to stowage and restraints hardware design for the ISS. Earlier roles included positions at Sterling Municipal Library and Walgreens, along with serving as a Crew Leader Assistant for the U.S. Census Bureau. Alexis earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering Technology from the University of Houston between 2009 and 2015.
