Chyree Batton

Chyree Batton, Ph.D., currently serves as the Commercial Innovation Strategy Lead at Axiom Space since August 2022. Prior to this role, Chyree held various positions at SC Johnson from March 2015 to September 2022, including Associate Manager of Chemistry with responsibilities in technology strategy, customer marketing, product formulation, project management, and materials innovation, contributing to significant advancements in the company's portfolio and cost savings. Academic experiences include serving as a Graduate Research Assistant at Louisiana State University from August 2009 to December 2014, focusing on peptide synthesis and drug delivery systems, and as an Undergraduate Researcher at Spelman College. Chyree earned a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from Louisiana State University and a B.S. in Chemistry from Spelman College.
