David Streng

David Streng is an experienced GNC engineer currently working at Axiom Space since December 2020, where significant contributions include the development of a controls system from inception to preparation for CDR, enhancements to system functionality, and collaboration with systems engineers on CMG sizing requirements. Prior experience includes a mechanical engineering internship at Western Digital, where David modeled components in Solidworks, performed thermal testing, and developed testing jigs, as well as a role as a student assistant at California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo, where a Labview data acquisition program was created. David holds both a Master's and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo, completing studies in 2020.
