Lucie Low

Chief Scientist at Axiom Space

Lucie Low has a diverse work experience in the field of research and scientific coordination. Lucie is currently working as the Chief Scientist for Microgravity Research at Axiom Space since 2022. Prior to this, they held multiple roles at the National Center for Advancing Translational Sciences (NCATS) from 2016 to 2022, including the NASA-NIH Liaison Point of Contact and Translational Partnerships Scientist. Lucie also worked as a Research Fellow at the National Institutes of Health from 2012 to 2016. Lucie Low has additionally served as the Co-chair of the NIH Fellows Committee (FelCom), worked as a Program Analyst at the National Center for Complementary and Integrative Health, and held various positions at Canadian and McGill University. At University College London, they were a Graduate Student, and at the Wellcome Trust London Pain Consortium, they were a PhD student.

Lucie Low began their education journey in 2001 at the University of Oxford, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Physiology with Psychology. After completing their undergraduate studies in 2004, they continued their academic pursuits at UCL, where they obtained a Master of Science degree in Neuroscience in 2005. Lucie went on to further expand their knowledge in the field of Neuroscience and completed their education journey by obtaining a PhD from UCL in 2010.
