Robert Armstrong

Robert Armstrong is an accomplished engineer with extensive experience in aerospace and manufacturing. Currently serving as the Lead Process Engineer - Design Check at Axiom Space since 2022, Robert contributes to the development of the first commercial space station. Previous roles include Quality Engineer at Virgin Hyperloop focused on high-speed transportation R&D, and Sr. Manufacturing Engineer at Bigelow Aerospace where Robert was also Lead Design Checker and Quality Control Inspector. Additional positions include Quality Control Specialist at American Range Corporation and Install Sales Manager at Lowe's Companies, Inc. Robert's career began in 1991 as a Process Engineer and Quality Control Inspector at Triumph Gear Systems Group. Robert holds a degree from the University of Michigan College of Engineering.
