Zach Porter

Zach Porter is an experienced engineer with a strong background in avionics and electrical engineering. Currently serving as an Avionics Engineer at Axiom Space since August 2020, Zach specializes in ensuring communication between avionics systems, sensors, and networks. Prior to this role, Zach worked as an Electrical Engineer at NanoRacks LLC from March 2016 to August 2020, focusing on computer-related projects. Zach also has experience as a Graduate Assistant at Western Michigan University, where duties included teaching undergraduate courses, and as a Systems Developer at Reynolds and Reynolds, responsible for redesigning remote management systems. Early career experience includes roles as a Student Researcher at the University of Kentucky, contributing to CubeSat development, and as a Software Development Intern at CirrusMio, Inc., focusing on customer support and debugging. Zach holds a Master of Arts in Philosophy from Western Michigan University and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Kentucky.
