David Greenberg has a decade of work experience in the biotechnology field. David began their career as a Research Technician at the Howard Hughes Medical Institute in 2004. David then went on to become a Graduate Student at UC Santa Cruz in 2006. In 2014, they became a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Gladstone Institutes. From 2015 to 2017, they held the role of Senior Scientist at Pacific Biosciences, where they worked on a noAmp Cas9 Target Enrichment method for repeat expansion disease studies. In 2017, they joined Two Pore Guys, Inc. as a Senior Scientist. In 2018, they took on two roles, first as a Biotechnology Contractor at a startup in stealth mode, and then as an Inside Sales and Technical Support Specialist at Diagenode, where they worked with epigenetics, NGS kits, long-read sequencing sample prep, ChiP-seq, and methylation. In 2020, they joined Twist Bioscience as a Next Generation Sequencing Sales Specialist, where they worked with custom target enrichment panels for NGS, exome, methylation, SARS controls, viral surveillance, and cancer gene panels. Finally, in 2023, they became an Account Manager at Axion BioSystems.
David Greenberg received a Bachelor of Science in Biology from UC San Diego between 1998 and 2003. David then went on to receive a Doctor of Philosophy in Molecular, Cell and Developmental Biology from the University of California, Santa Cruz between 2006 and 2014.
